AP: U.S. population hits 3 million milestone
I’m sure they will correct this before anyone can view it but this was the headline I was greeted to this morning.
3 million?!?! I thought we were approaching 300 million?
The articles first sentence is “The nation's population officially hit 300 million at 7:46 a.m. EDT Tuesday, when the Census Bureau's population clock rolled over to the big number.”
So I guess someone just got lazy typing in the extra zeros!
